Chrome Crankshaft – ‘doubles’ JavaScript speed

Low latency browser-based trading has been massively accelerated by the latest releases of Chrome and Firefox. Now that performance is set to get a boost again with Crankshaft for Chrome – which heavily optimises code that’s frequently used. Google say the more work the browser does, the faster the browser will work. This turbo-charging will soon be incorporated into new versions of Chrome.
