I previously posted a twin infographic of the developer’s toolkit. Here we move on to look inside a designer’s toolkit.
The sampling here is even narrower – only 180 designers… so it’s a little small for any real judgement but anyhow it’s a nice infographic 🙂
Design has always = Mac really so the fact that the applications are heavyily Mac focused isn’t a surprise.
OmniGraffle hangs on to top place for wireframing followed by Balsamiq (personally I have never got on with balsamiq and have never liked the look of the output).
I was also surprised that Final Cut Pro is so far ahead of Adobe Premier for video editing.
Using Bestvendor.com also leads to some interesting suggestions, I now love using lookwork! 🙂
